REVIEWS
Heather did a great job with the beginning watercolor class. Recommend that class start right on time as many did arrive 10 minutes early to be ready for this class. I would have brought an easel, and mounted the picture that we were painting, so everyone could see it. I took a picture on my phone and referred to that. Also on the easle mount a picture of a completed color wheel that we created, would have made it easier for visual learners. If you are late, then let them know the class begins at a certain time and say...glad you're here, but the class starts at...., and just do this to get up to speed..... the color wheel was important to discuss and to paint, but recommend bringing a visual to mount on display of the 12 colors you want the class to paint. bringing in more than one wax crayon to be used by 10 people....took a bit longer than needed to have everyone use it. but overall, the class was relaxed, fun, and Heather was professional, positive, and encouraged everyone. Nice job. I would recommend to others.

Heather did a great job. She is a little soft spoken and the acoustics in the venue were not great. She walked around and was able to give all her personal attention.

Title or Location: Island Sunset
This 9x12 watercolor was inspired by a photograph of the Turks and Caicos Islands at sunset where she was recently visiting. Plam trees dominate tge scene overlaying the bushes with a peek of the cabanas and calm ocean in the background. You see the sky at sunset with dark rainclouds on the horizon. I painted this piece to exemplify atmospheric landscapes with both energy and tranquility,

Title or Location: The Marshes
This 9x12 watercolor is a depiction of wetlands typical of Georgia at sunset. It's painted in a loose and expressive style. A central blue waterway snakes through the dense green reeds of the foreground marsh, reflecting the golden light of the sky with gray clouds and a distant line of green trees in the background giving it depth and perspective.
